Franchise Manager

  1. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in franchise operations, business development, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record in franchise recruitment and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of franchise laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with franchisees, stakeholders, and government bodies.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for franchise support and recruitment activities.

 

2. Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in franchising of F&B or Retail.
  • Familiarity with franchise management software/tools.
  1. Franchise Operations Support
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to corporate and franchise outlets, ensuring adherence to brand standards and SOPs.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety guidelines.
  • Address franchisee concerns, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to enhance performance.
  • Assist in training franchisees and their staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices.

 

2. Franchise Recruitment & Business Development

  • Organize and conduct franchise recruitment seminars, roadshows, and exhibitions to attract potential franchisees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the franchise network in line with company growth objectives.
  • Evaluate potential franchisees’ financial and operational capabilities to ensure suitability.
  • Prepare and present franchise proposals, agreements, and related documentation.

 

3. Compliance & Government Liaison

  • Ensure all franchise operations comply with local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Liaise with government authorities and agencies on franchise-related matters (e.g., licensing, permits, franchisor-franchisee regulations).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in franchising.

 

4. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of franchisee performance, agreements, and communications.
  • Prepare regular reports on franchise network performance, recruitment progress, and operational challenges.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating franchise operating manuals, contracts, and operational guidelines.
