Prioritising Employee Welfare And Providing
Material Aid To Disadvantaged Groups
We consider our employees our greatest assets and believe that ensuring employees’ comfort and well-being is the single most effective method of retaining talent as well as maintaining high levels of morale and productivity.
We comply with all labour laws regulations in Malaysia
Shunning exploitative labour practices (e.g. child labour, forced labour) and providing our workers with benefits such as health insurance, medical leave, annual, maternity leave, and contributions to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), the Socal Security Organisation (SOCSO), and the Employment Insurance System (EIS).
We are concerned about increasing income inequality
And the pervasive practice of paying employees, regardless of their qualifications and contributions, little more than the minimum wage in a misguided attempt to cut costs. In response, we are implementing a living wage worth far more than the federally mandated minimum that will allow staff to meaningfully participate in society on top of being able to afford the necessities of life (e.g. food, shelter, and healthcare).
Plantex is an equal opportunities employer that does not discriminate against employees and job applicants
Based on aspects of their identity (e.g. age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, and religious beliefs). Reports of workplace harassment or discrimination are treated seriously: to maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the workplace, disciplinary action will be taken against staff found guilty of instigating such behaviour after a thorough investigation.
We incentivise better performance using rewards instead of punishments
To uplift the less fortunate in society, we will also partner with various charitable organisations
To channel food aid (i.e. our plant-based products) to impoverished individuals who would not be able to afford nutritious food otherwise.
